Electrostatic generator
An electrostatic generator is a mechanical device which produces a high voltage electrical output at very low current. Electrostatic generators are typically used in science classrooms to safely demonstrate electrical forces and high voltage phenomena. Electrostatic generators such as the Pelletron and the tandem generator also find use in physics research.
