Elf (movie)
Elf is a 2003 American comedy film about a boy named Buddy (played by Will Ferrell) who was raised by Santa's elves at the North Pole. As he grows, problems arise because he is so large in comparison with his adopted elvish family. After some years, Buddy decides to return to the human world and find his biological father, portrayed by James Caan in New York City.
In New York City, Buddy faces many problems because he doesn't know the human customs. In several comedic scenes, Buddy is introduced to table manners and dating among other things.
The movie climaxes where Buddy is forced to help fix Santa Claus' sleigh and restore Christmas spirit to the people of New York.
