Elizabeth Jane Hurley (born June 10, 1965) is a British model, actress, producer and designer of Irish descent (on her father's side), born in Hampshire. Her mother is a Catholic while her late father was a protestant. Her height is 1.73m. Elizabeth has an older sister, Kate, and a younger brother, Michael. She took ballet classes as a child and got a scolarship at a boarding school at the age of 12 but got kicked out due to poor grades. She came to attention following her wearing of a form-fitting black Versace gown barely held together with safety pins; she wore it at the premier of Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994), a film that starred her then-companion Hugh Grant.

Her notable Hollywood films include, two Austin Powers (1997 & 1999) movies and Bedazzled (2000). She has also produced two films starring Grant, under their jointly owned Simian production company, Extreme Measures (1996) and Mickey Blue Eyes (1999). Additionally, in 2004 she was an executive producer on the film Method.She dated Grant from 1987 until 2001.

She was the face of (1994 - 2001) and is now an ambassador and perfume model for Estée Lauder, a perfume and cosmetics company. She has a lipstick named after her. The money made out of it goes to the Breast Cancer Foundation.

Since her breakup with Grant, she has been linked with American film producer Stephen Bing and American millionaire Ted Forstmann. She is engaged to half-Indian, half-German Arun Nayar , the playboy son of a Bombay textile millionaire, whom she has been seeing since 2003 and who obtained a divorce from his Italian wife, Valentina Pedroni, in early 2005. On April 4th 2002 she gave birth to a son, Damian Charles Hurley, fathered by Bing, who initially denied paternity. DNA tests confirmed that he was.

She has homes in London, Ampney Crucis in Gloucestershire, and Beverly Hills. The Daily Mail 2004 Rich List put her fortune at an estimated £17 million. She said she gets her hot date look by eating alot of Watercress Soup. Elizabeth's dress size is US 6 (UK 8 EU 38.)

In April of 2005 her new beachwear line Elizabeth Hurley Beach will debut in select Saks Fifth Avenue stores in the United States and in select locations worldwide.
