Elizabeth Rogers
Elizabeth Rogers (May 18, 1934 – November 6, 2004) was an American actress.
Born Betty Jayne Rogers in Austin, Texas she is famous for being the replacement of Lt. Uhura in some episodes of the 1960s television series Star Trek. During the 1970s she also appeared in a string of Irwin Allen produced disaster films including The Poseidon Adventure and The Towering Inferno as she was a good friend of Allen. Her last maajor motion picture was An Officer and a Gentleman in 1982.
She died from multiple strokes and lung cancer on November 6, 2004 in Tarzana, California at the age of 70.
