Elizabethtown College
Elizabethtown College is a small liberal-arts college located in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania in Lancaster County. It is commonly referred to as Etown.

History
The college was founded in 1899 by members of the Church of the Bretheren.
Academics
Etown is a comprehensive college offering 45 majors and more than 60 minors/concentrations in the humanities, arts and sciences, and professional disciplines.

Etown has 19 Division III sports teams. It is a part of the MAC (Middle Atlantic Corporation)

Student Life
SWEET (Students Working to Entertain ETown) is the organization on campus that has the mission of providing fun and safe activities for students outside of the classroom.
Etown has a student-run newspaper (The Etownian), television station (ECTV), and radio station (WWEC 88.3 FM).
Service to Others
Etown's motto is "Educate for Service." Over 600 students, alumni, faculty, and administrators participate annually in the Into the Streets service program every October in the Elizabethtown community.
