Elliptical Galaxy M59
Elliptical Galaxy M59 (also known as Messier Object 59, Messier 59, M59, or NGC 4621) is an elliptical galaxy in the Virgo constellation. It was discovered by Johann Gottfried Koehler in 1779. M59 is one of the larger elliptical galaxies of the Virgo Cluster. Its distance is assumed to be of 60 million light years away from Earth.
