Elos (Greek: Έλος) is a village in Greece near Skala and Vlachiotis . It was called Durali until 1912. The population is about 800 people as of 2005. The inhabitants work as farmers producing oranges and olive oil. The beaches are nearby facing south to the Laconian Gulf . The Eurotas river is west of Elos. The name dates back to ancient times. GR-86 is to the north. It is also located W of Monemvasia, E of Gytheio and SE of Sparta.
