Emagic Logic
Emagic Logic was a music sequencing application produced by the German Hamburg-based firm Emagic since 1992. Its primary competitors are ProTools, Digital Performer, Cakewalk's Sonar and Steinberg's Cubase. Since the purchase of Emagic by Apple Computer Corporation, it was announced that the PC version of the program will no longer be updated. In 2004 Emagic Logic Audio, Logic Platinum and Logic Silver were re-branded into two packages, Logic Pro and Logic Express, bringing Logic into line with the marketing of other professional Apple software.
