Emperor Ai of Han (51 BC–7 BC) was an emperor of the Chinese Han Dynasty. The emperor and Dong Xian were lovers, same sex relationships and attractions being called "the passions of the cut sleeve" after a story that rather than disturb the sleeping Dong Xian, Ai cut off his sleeve.
