Ensiferum
Ensiferum is a Viking / Folk metal band from Helsinki, Finland.
Ensiferum is latin, and translated literally means The bearer of iron, but in context means The wearer of the sword or Sword wearer

Band members
The band members are:
- Petri Lindroos (also Norther) (vocals, guitar)
- Markus Toivonen (guitar)
- Sami Hinkka (bass)
- Meiju Enho (Synth).
Jari Mäenpää, ex-guitarist/ex-vocalist did all the albums with Ensiferum, left at the end of 2004 to work on his solo project "Wintersun" and relesed an album "Winter Madness". Jari recruited 3 members to Wintersun and is looking for a forth (synth player).
