Evan Harris
Dr Evan Leslie Harris MP (born 21 October 1965) is a politician in the United Kingdom. He was born in Sheffield and was educated at the Blue Coat School, Liverpool, and Wadham College, Oxford. He is currently the Liberal Democrat member of Parliament for Oxford West and Abingdon and was first elected in 1997.
He is president of Delga, the Lib Dem's LGBT group. He is treasurer of the Israel APPG and Council of Christians and Jews APPG All-party Party Parliamentary Groups .
He served as Health spokesperson for the LibDems but stepped down in 2003 for personal reasons.
