Eve Arden

Eve Arden (April 30, 1908November 12, 1990) was an American actress born as Eunice Quedens in Mill Valley, California.

She played in many movies, including Grease, in which she played the principal, and the secretary in Anatomy of a Murder.

She was also the star of Our Miss Brooks, a sitcom which aired on both radio (1948 - 1952), television (1952 - 1956), and in a 1956 feature film. She played the role of Connie Brooks, an English teacher in Madison High School. She also appeared with Kaye Ballard in the 1960's sitcom, "The Mothers-in-law".

She died of cancer and heart disease in Los Angeles, California and was interred in the Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Westwood, California.
