Excelsior Stadium
The Excelsior Stadium is home to Airdrie United F.C. of the Scottish Football League First Division. The ground was finished in 1998 and was originally home to Airdrieonians before the club went out of business due to heavy debts. This left an opening in the Scottish League, which was filled by Gretna F.C.. To gain a spot in the league the Airdrie United F.C. owner bought out Clydebank FC, and it's spot in the League.
The ground seats 10,171.
