Executioner (comics)
The Executioner is a fictional character in the Marvel Comics universe, who hailed from Asgard, the extra-dimensional home of the Norse gods. Skurge (the Executioner's real name), had strength rivaling if not surpassing that of Thor, who in Marvel continuity was frequently his opponent. Skurge was in love with the Enchantress, and regularly aided her in various evil schemes, though he ultimately died as a hero, fighting an entire army of monstrous creatures by himself and earning a place inValhalla, Asgard's place for honored dead.
