Expo 2005

The Expo 2005 is the World's Fair between March 25 and September 25 2005 (a duration of 185 days) in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. The theme of the Expo is "Nature's Wisdom".

The main location is in Nagakute, east of Nagoya, in an area with a size of 1.85km. A smaller area of 0.15km near Seto is also part of the Expo. Toyota City will also have some events, although there is no special area for the exhibition. The organizers expect a total of 15 million visitors.

The Area in Nagakute can easily be reached from Nagoya by subway (Higashiyama line) to the last stop in Fujigaoka, followed by a ride on the newly built LINIMO, a magnetic levitation train.
