Extreme points of India
This is a list of the extreme points of India, the points that are farther north, south, east or west than any other location in the country.
India
- Northernmost Point — Siachen Glacier near Karakoram Pass , Jammu and Kashmir ¹
- Southernmost Point — Indira Point , Great Nicobar, Andaman and Nicobar Islands
- Westernmost Point — West of Ghuar Mota , Gujarat
- Easternmost Point — Kibithu , Arunachal Pradesh
India (mainland)

- Southernmost Point — Cape Comorin (Kanyakumari), Tamil Nadu
- Westernmost Point — West of Ghuar Mota , Gujarat
- Easternmost Point — Kibithu , Arunachal Pradesh
¹ India's northernmost point is disputed. The Karakoram Pass is the northernmost point under Indian control. India claims the entirety of Jammu and Kashmir, the northernmost point of which is the Kilik Pass. Pakistan disputes that any part of the state is sovereign Indian territory, leaving Killar in Himachal Pradesh as the northernmost undisputed part of India.
