Fake fur
Fake fur or fun fur is any material designed to resemble fur, normally as part of a piece of clothing. Normally it is made of synthetic fibers. It is popular because it has a similar texture, appearance, and insulation quality to real fur but costs much less and can be produced without cruelty to animals.
Fun fur garments were very popular at early raves, in part because people under the influence of Ecstasy enjoyed its texture.
