Fayetteville State University
Fayetteville State University is a four-year university located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Founded in 1867 as the Howard School, Fayetteville State University now enrolls over 5,300 students and is a constituent institution of the University of North Carolina System. It is a historically black college.
