Fernie Alpine Resort
Fernie Alpine Resort is an Alpine ski resort, located near the town of Fernie, British Columbia. It is known particularly for its high annual snowfall, reportedly the highest of any resort in the Canadian Rockies, and for its powder skiing.
The resort has 10 lifts. There are 107 different trails with a vertical drop of 857m (2811 ft). The average annual snowfall is 875cm (29ft).
Fernie is owned by Resorts of the Canadian Rockies which also owns ski areas at Lake Louise, Kimberley, Fortress Mountain , Nakiska, Mont Sainte-Anne, and Stoneham.
