Fibrinoid necrosis
Fibrinoid necrosis a form of necrosis (tissue breakdown) caused by immune-mediated vascular damage. It is marked by deposition of fibrin-like proteinaceous material in arterial walls, which appears smudgy and acidophilic on light microscopy.
