Filothei (Greek: Φιλοθέη) is an affluent suburb of Athens, Greece, consisting mainly of hillside villas with reasonably close proximity to the Olympic Stadium.

Home to Chief 2004 Summer Olympics organizer Gianna Angelopoulos-Daskalaki, the wooded area in Filothei can be prone to out-of-control fires. One such fire was started when Angelopoulos-Daskalaki was holding a party to celebrate the successful Opening Ceremonies in Athens. After an hour, sixty firefighters were able to put out the unintentional blaze set off by Angelopoulos-Daskalaki's fireworks.
