Finola Hughes


Finola Hughes (born 29 October 1960) is a British actress who has played the fictional character of Anna Devane on the soap operas General Hospital (1985-1992, 1995) and All My Children (2001-2003). She also appeared as Anna Devane's twin sister Dr. Alexandra Devane Marick (1999-2001) on All My Children. She also appeared on the sitcom Blossom. She also appeared as the X-Men character Emma Frost in the 1996 made for TV film Generation X She also was a guest star on the television series Charmed playing The Charmed Ones' mother Patricia Halliwell.

While on All My Children she went on maternity leave in 2001 to raise her son. When she returned to the show she found herself playing two characters at the same time, for which it is a regular practice on soap operas to be paid twice. While hosting the reality television show Who's Your Daddy in 2004 she adopted another son. Currently, she can be seen on The Style Network as the host of the makeover show, How Do I Look? .

Hughes won a Daytime Emmy in 1991, for "Outstanding Lead Actress" on General Hospital. She was nominated for the same category in 2000 for AMC as Alex and in 2002 as Anna.
