Fiorinal
Fiorinal is a combination analgesic medication that consists of acetylsalicylic acid, the barbiturate butalbital and caffeine. Some formulations also contain the opioid codeine. It is used to treat tension headaches and migraines. The mechanism of action is not well understood. Since butalbital is habit-forming, fiorinal daily can lead to dependency.
