Fire in the Sky

Fire in the Sky is a 1993 American sci-fi movie. It is directed by Robert Lieberman, written by Travis Walton (book) and Tracy Tormé (screenplay).

Premise

The alleged true story of the best documented alien abduction of Travis Walton which occurred on November 5, 1975, near Snowflake, Arizona. He disappeared mysteriously for days then re-appeared just as mysteriously, leaving many questions unanswered. His co-workers, who work with him as loggers, are suspected of foul play, despite no apparent motive or clue as to Walton's previous whereabouts.
