Flashback (flash animation)

Flashback is a Flash animation by Danny Gomez . It has been widely circulated around the Internet, especially in psychedelic trance and Goa trance communities. For many others it served as the first, and most likely the only, introduction to this arcane genre of music.

The animation features a patient who suffers from hallucinations (Gomez), and his psychiatrist (in the likeness of Albert Hoffman). The doctor decides to introduce a new experimental treatment influenced by shamanic medicine which apparently causes the patient to go into a trance. The rest of the video features psychedelic music and intense imagery.

In actuality, Flashback is an unauthorized music video for Shpongle's track "Divine Moments of Truth" from the Are You Shpongled? album. It is not clear whether or not the band endorses the work, however they have made no attempt so far to get it removed from the Web.
