Florida Everblades

The Florida Everblades are an ECHL ice hockey team playing in the Southeast Division. The team is based in Estero, Florida and plays at Germain Arena (Formerly Teco Arena). The team has been in existence since 1998. The Everblades are affiliated with the Lowell Lock Monsters (Lowell, Massachusetts) in the American Hockey League (AHL) and with the Carolina Hurricanes (Raleigh, North Carolina) in the National Hockey League (NHL).

Awards and Trophies

Kelly Cup

Most recently, the Everblades were the runners-up for the Kelly Cup , the equivalent of the Stanley Cup for the NHL. The Everblades lost to the Idaho Steelheads. Even though they lost, the team did manage to win the Division and Conference Championships.

Brabham Cup

In the 1999 - 2000 season, the Everblades won the Brabham Cup. This trophy is given to the team that has the best position in the standings for the entire league. The Everblades took the trophy with 108 points (2*Wins + Ties), 14 more than the next highest team.
