Follow That Bird
A 1985 film based on the show Sesame Street. In the movie, a social worker decides that Big Bird would be better off among his own kind and sends him to live with a family of dodos. His Sesame Street human/Muppet family sets off to bring back their Bird. While they are trying to find him, he tries to get home himself, and gets caught by a pair of travelling con men and put on display.
This was the first-ever full-length Sesame Street feature film. It was followed in 1999 by Elmo in Grouchland.
The movie featured appearances by many comedians that were popular in the 1980s, including John Candy, Joe Flaherty, Dave Thomas, and Chevy Chase.
