Fondi
Fondi is a small town in Italy, halfway between Rome and Naples. Before the construction of the motorway between the latter cities in the late 1950s, Fondi had been an important settlement on the Roman Appian Road, which connected Rome and Brindisi, port of departure and arrival of ship connections between Rome and nearby Greece on the Adriatic Sea.
