The Expedition is a large SUV from Ford Motor Company. Introduced in 1997 and refreshed for 2003, it fits between the Ford Explorer and Ford Excursion in the company's SUV lineup, offers 9-passenger seating, and a range of V8 engines. It is similar to the Lincoln Navigator, especially for 2004 with the introduction of the Limited trim line. One million Expeditions had been sold by 2004.
