Frankie Crosetti

Frank Peter Joseph Crosetti ("The Crow") (born October 4 1910 in San Francisco, CA - died February 11 2002 in Stockton, CA) was an infielder for the New York Yankees for his entire career. He mostly played short stop, but often filled in at third base and second base. He batted and threw right-handed.

In his career, he had a .245 batting average, 98 home runs, and 649 RBI's. He also had a total of 113 stolen bases, 2225 total bases, 260 doubles, and 65 triples in 6277 at bats. He led the league in stolen bases in 1938 with 27, and led the league in hit by pitches 8 times in his career. He ended his career with an amazing total of 114 hit by pitches (tied for 37th all-time, with Bill Freehan). He was also a two-time all-star (1936, 1939).
