Fraternitas Saturni
Fraternitas Saturni ("Brotherhood of Saturn", FS) is the oldest German magical order. It was founded in 1928 by the bookseller Eugen Grosche, better known by his magical name Gregor A. Gregorius.
It was one of the first organizations besides the Ordo Templi Orientis to accept the law of thelema which they extended by the phrase "Mitleidlose Liebe!" ("Merciless love!").
In 1933, the FS was prohibited by the Nazi regime. Gregorius as well as other leaders of the lodge emigrated in order to avoid imprisonment. After World War II Gregorius was able to reunite the brothers and bring back the lodge back to full blossom.
