Frederick Sumner Brackett
Frederick Sumner Brackett (August 1, 1896 – ?), American physicist and spectroscopist. Born Claremont, California. Discovered the hydrogen Brackett lines in 1922, where an electron jumps up from or drops down to the fourth fundamental level.
