Free Reformed Churches of Australia
The Free Reformed Churches of Australia is a federation of 11 congregations, nine in Western Australia and two in Tasmania.
The churches subscribe to the Three Forms of Unity: Canons of Dort, Belgic Confession and the Heidelberg Catechism.
The congregations in Western Australia, in order of institution are:
- Armadale - instituted June 24, 1951
- Albany - instituted December 14, 1952
- Kelmscott (daughter of Armadale) - instituted January 1, 1981
- Byford (daughter of Armadale)- instituted January 27, 1985
- Mount Nasura (formerly called Bedfordale, daughter of Kelmscott) - instituted December 1, 1987
- Rockingham (daughter of Byford) - instituted September 6, 1992
- West Albany (daughter of Albany) - instituted August 6, 1994
- Bunbury - instituted November 25, 2001
- Darling Downs (daughter of Byford and Armadale) - instituted July 6, 2003
The congregations in Tasmania are:
- Launceston - instituted February 15, 1953
- Legana (daughter of Launceston) - instituted December 4, 1988
- There is also a home-congregation in Hobart
The Churches have sister-church relationships with the Reformed Churches of the Netherlands (Liberated) , the Canadian and American Reformed Churches, the Free Reformed Church in South Africa, the Presbyterian Church in Korea, and reformed churches in Indonesia.
