Frikadel
A frikandel is a Dutch snack, a sort of minced-meat hot dog. It is a long, dark coloured fried sausage that is eaten warm. In Belgium they are called 'curry-worst'.
In many other countries, including South Africa and Germany, frikandel or frikadelle is the local name of minced-meat patties like those used on hamburgers.
