G. D. Spradlin

G. D. Spradlin (born August 31 1920 in Daylight Township, Garvin County, Oklahoma, USA) is an American actor. He often plays devious Southern types.

He first began his career as a lawyer, then became an Independent Oil producer. Before he turned to acting he was active in local politics. He joined the Oklahoma Repertory Theatre in 1964.
