GM C platform
The General Motors C platform (commonly called C-Body) was a fullsize car automobile platform produced until 1996.
It was similar to the GM B platform in its rear wheel drive era, and the GM H platform in front wheel drive, with both the "H" and "C" using the same 110.8 in wheelbase. Most C-body vehicles were moved to the GM G platform or GM K platform in the mid-1990s.
"C" was rear wheel drive until 1984; from 1985 on "C" was front wheel drive.
This platform was the basis for the following vehicles:
- 1987-1990 Buick Electra Park Avenue
- 1985-1988 Cadillac Sedan de Ville
- 1985-1993 Cadillac Coupe de Ville
- 1985-1992 Cadillac Fleetwood
- 1993 Cadillac Sixty Special
- 1971-1984 Oldsmobile 98
- 1991-1996 Buick Park Avenue
