GTP-binding protein
Guanosine triphosphate binding protein or GTP-Binding Protein is a class of biochemical proteins. They are rendered inactive upon donation of a phosphate group from GTP and active upon donating the phosphate group back to GTP.
They act as relays that initiate intracellular processes using triggers such as cell-surface receptor activation.
