G (New York City Subway service)

The G Brooklyn-Queens Crosstown Local is a service of the New York City Subway, and it is the only full line (excluding the Franklin Avenue and Rockaway shuttles) that does not provide service to Manhattan. It is colored light green since it uses the IND Crosstown Line. The runs 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. During rush hours and middays, it runs from Long Island City-Court Square south to Smith-Ninth Streets ; it extends north and east along the Queens Boulevard Line local tracks at other times, ending at Forest Hills-71st Avenue .

Residents along the G say that they have been shortchanged, for instance when the came along and the G was cut back.
