Gabrielle (singer)
Louise Gabrielle Bobb (born April 16 1970, London) is a British singer who records under the name Gabrielle. Her debut single "Dreams" topped the UK charts in June 1993. Using a sample from Bob Dylan's "Knocking on Heaven's Door", "Rise" became Gabrielles second UK number one in 2000. Other notable singles include "Give Me A Little More Time", "Walk On By" (a cover of the Dionne Warwick classic), "If You Ever" - A Duet with East 17 and "Out of Reach" from the soundtrack to Bridget Jones' Diary.
She has a problem with one eye and usually wears an eyepatch or dark glasses.
