Gaius Caesar
Several notable individuals of the Roman Empire were commonly called Gaius Caesar:
- Gaius Julius Caesar, the Roman dictator
- Gaius Julius Caesar Vipsanianus was the son of Agrippa and Julia Caesaris, and the heir apparent to Augustus Caesar, but died in AD 4.
- Gaius Julius Caesar Germanicus, nicknamed Caligula, the Roman Emperor who ruled from AD 37 to 41.
