Garšabęr
Garðabęr is a municipality in the Greater Reykjavķk area of Iceland. As of 2004, its population was 9,000.
History
Originally, when Iceland was settled in the 9th century, there were two farms on the present-day area of Garðabęr. Their names were Vķfilsstaðir and Skślastaðir . Vķfilsstaðir was named after Vķfill , a one-time servant of Ingólfur Arnarson, the first settler of Iceland.
