Geo Prizm

The Geo Prizm was a small car from the 1990s. Sold as a sedan or 5-door hatchback, it was a badge engineered version of the Toyota Sprinter, an upmarket version of the Toyota Corolla, replacing the similar 1988 Chevrolet Nova and Isuzu-based 1989 Geo Spectrum.

The Prizm was updated for the 1993 model year, and survived the demise of the Geo Marque as the 1998-2002 Chevrolet Prizm.

All Prizms where powered by the same engine as the then present Toyota Corolla models:

  • The 1989-1992 Prizms (AE92) where powered by the 4A-FE engine
  • The 1993-1997 Prizms (AE102) where powered by the 4A-FE or optional 7A-FE engine
  • The 1998-2002 Prizms (ZZE112) where powered by the 1ZZ-FE engine
