George Armstrong (ice hockey)
George Armstrong (born July 6, 1930 in Skead, Ontario, Canada), was a professional ice hockey player.
He played professionally from 1949 until 1971 (including the 1950-51 and 1951-52 seasons in the AHL). Armstrong was a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs for a remarkable twenty-one seasons.
During the 1988-89 Armstrong served as head coach of the Leafs for forty-seven games.
Career Statistics: 296 goals scored, 417 assists over 1,188 games played.
