Georges Cardinal Cottier
Georges Marie Martin Cardinal Cottier (born April 25, 1922) is a Dominican, Cardinal and Swiss theologian.
Born in Céligny, Switzerland, Georges Cottier joined the Dominican Order in 1945.
He was professor at the Universities of Geneva and Fribourg.
He became Cardinal on October 21, 2003 then Titular Archbishop of Tullia , Pro-Theologian of the Pontifical Household and retired Secretary-General of the International Theological Commission.
