Georgetown University Chamber Singers
Founded in 1992, the Georgetown University Chamber Singers are a select group of mixed voices who perform a cappella works from the Renaissance through the twenty-first century, under the guidance of a professional director. The Chamber Singers perform throughout the academic year on the Georgetown University campus and at numerous private events throughout the District of Columbia and beyond. The group has performed at the White House and the Kennedy Center, and for presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter. The Chamber Singers also work closely with the Georgetown University Program in Performing Arts. The ensemble has recorded two CDs to date, a self-titled album and a Christmas recording entitled The Gift.
