Georgian Airways
Georgian Airways was formed in November 1999 as the result of the merger of two Georgian air companies, Airzena and Air Georgia , with the carrier being named Airzena Georgian Airlines. Airzena had started in September 1994 operating charter flights. Headquartered in Tbilisi, the newly-formed Airzena Georgian Airlines was a private company, one of the largest in Georgia. In October 1994, the airline was named to Georgian Airways.
