Glen Iris railway station, Melbourne
Glen Iris is a railway station (station code: GIR) in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is located on the Glen Waverley line, at High and Wills Streets in the suburb of Glen Iris. It is 10.3 km from Flinders Street Station, the center of the city's suburban railway network, and in Metcard ticketing Zone 1.
Glen Iris is an unstaffed station, with only limited facilities.
This station has two platforms arranged in an island configuration (where trains arrive either side of a central shared platform), with a pedestrian underpass connecting the station to adjacent High Street and bus stops servicing bus routes 612 and 734. Tram route 6 also terminates near the station.
