Glenn Tilbrook
Glenn Tilbrook, born in South East London on August 31 1957, was the lead singer of the Southeast London band Squeeze, a pop band formed in the mid-1970s. They are best-known for their hit songs "Tempted", "Pulling Mussels (from the Shell)", and "Black Coffee in Bed", among many others. Glenn generally wrote the music for their songs, while his writing partner, Chris Difford, wrote the lyrics.
Since Squeeze's final breakup in 1999, Glenn has persued a solo career, often touring around the UK and US in an unreliable RV, playing small venues to audiences of faithful and highly supportive fans. He currenty has two solo albums, The Incomplete Glenn Tilbrook, and Transatlantic Ping-Pong.
