Gonzalo Pizarro
Gonzalo Pizarro (c. 1506 - 1548) was a Spanish conquistador.
Pizarro was the leader of the conquistadors in Peru in the 1540s. He gathered up an army to fight against Blasco Núñez Vela who created the infamous New Laws of 1542, that dealt with the encomienda system. Gonzalo Pizarro was a very powerful leader that hated the New Laws. In 1546 Gonzalo Pizarro's strong army fought Blasco Núñez Vela's smaller and less equipped army. Pizarro and his men won the fight. They even had Vela decapitated as a reminder of their victory.
