Good Morning Britain
Good Morning Britain was TV-am's flagship breakfast television show, which broadcast from 7am until 9am five days per week between 1983 and 1992. It had many different presenters, but eventually settled in 1990 with Sports reporter Mike Morris , and regional reporter Lorriane Kelly . Good Morning Britain became very sucessful, and had very impressive ratings. According to Mike Morris, they estimated to have over 30,000 guests on the sofa over the years. Good Morning Britain (GMB) had a mixture of news and current affairs, weather,cartoons, music and many popular guests of the time. It displayed a famous yellow anolouge clock on the bottom of the screen. The news was provided in-house by TV-am, but following the licence loss was contracted out to Sky News, from February to December 1992. Other personalities that had presented Good Morning Britain inculded: Richard Keys , Nick Owen, Anne Dimond , Jayne Irvine ,and earlier David Frost and Anna Ford.
